Etiquette Rules
Emily Post needs to add a whole new chapter to her manners book. The responsible use of phones needs to be addressed. The law has already been established that you can't talk while driving, but what about when you are with friends? Is the person they are talking to more interesting than I am? Is this a contest on who can keep your attention? I do have a relative (who will remain nameless) that is on their phone constantly while they are around others. I wait patiently for this person to get off the phone and then try to talk quickly before the phone rings again. What is funny is that when I call this person on their cell phone, it rings and rings and doesn't get answered. So I don't make the cut? Should I be taking the hint? These are things I wonder about....
